Paul : OK, as far as the pump is concerned; the geared pulley is not available separate so you would have to get the complete pump.
Visitor: that is what we thought...
Paul : As for the soap container; if you fill it with water and depress the middle of the cap will water flow out?
Visitor: what about why the soap would not dispense from the soap catty?

Visitor: FYI.. we have used other clearners that what you're suppose to use.. could that be why?
Paul : Well, that's hard to say without seeing it, but I would suspect the Automox Piston or the Automix Assembly. Other brands of cleaners might have something to do with it. Sometimes filling the soap container with white vinegar might dissolve any built-up sediment.
Visitor: ok..so if the vinegar doesn't work, then buying the automox piston or the automis assembly ..how do we know which to buy?
Paul : To be honest, it's really trial and error - those parts are what allows the detergent to mix with the water. The piston has a very small hole and it clogs easily. You're looking at some disassembly. I can't guarantee the vinegar will work but if it's a relatively cheap attempt.
